2 seat coupe that will carry 4 wheels, excluding Porsche 968
Discussion
I am really enjoying my Porsche 968 Sport track car. The fact that it can take a full set of wheels and a 35kg trolley jack (as long as you don't take a passenger) is something I find hugely useful. It does however, lack a bit of power.
While there is no track action going on, I got thinking's what else might do the same? Obviously the 924s-968s will. The Porsche 928 is too heavy and I am not interested in BMWs. Any obvious contenders in a 2 seat sports car/coupe style, preferably V6 or V8 and 300 BHP or more?
PS I know the 968 is technically a 4 seater, but mine isn't.

Vauxhall Monaro? While there is no track action going on, I got thinking's what else might do the same? Obviously the 924s-968s will. The Porsche 928 is too heavy and I am not interested in BMWs. Any obvious contenders in a 2 seat sports car/coupe style, preferably V6 or V8 and 300 BHP or more?

If we're also including cars that are 'technically' 4/5 seat coupe's with the back seats folded/removed, I'll try to stay away from more modern vehicles & BMWs - you could try:
- VW Scirocco
- VW Corrado (that's what I used for a few years)
- Vauxhall Calibra
- Rover Tomcat
- Ford Capri
- Ford Puma
- Toyota Supra
- Nissan 300ZX
- Opel Manta
- Mitsubishi 3000gt
- Jaguary XK8

Laughable, if you think you can fit 1 wheel/tyre in the boot you have done well, you will end up with 3 on the passenger seat..It is possible to fit 4 wheels into a 350z, 2 in the boot, 1 either side of strut brace an 2 on the passenger seat.
The gt86 can also fit 2 wheels in the boot and 2on the back seat
