BRDC pro GT driver Adam Christodolou driving a standard Clio 197 track car at Silverstone ( and others). Interesting to the trackdayer or club racer who'd like to see how a pro driver, drives a normal car on circuit. Comes with commentary and a little telemetry.

I have only driven Silverstone a handful of times but sorry there's not much I learnt by watching this apart from the fact that he is a bit rough around the edges based on the video. laugh

I have been round with far better amateurs or even club drivers, in far trickier cars.

There is a far better video of a PH member there in a Focus RS, I think it's Racermike.

Same . Looks good enough but I'd never guess he was a "Pro driver", just a decent regular track-dayer.

His Oulton Park video in the wet was better.

Definitely shows off his car control a lot better.

There are plenty of ex-Champion pro level drivers doing tuition, one very well known one owns his own track day company so its not like most of us haven't already been on track with them. Another well known tutor is an ex-F1 driver from the age when Champagne was the breakfast of champions.

I presume that you mean M.D. ? He was a brilliant tutor, but watching him having to get over the door bar of my cage was not nice.

Well, I thought that was really excellent. Thanks to Adam.
I have done quite a lot of laps of Silverstone, but I am always ready to learn. I particularly liked the way he not only commentated on his driving, (which is not as easy as you think when concentrating). But, he was quite candid when a line, or a manoeuvre could have been better, explaining it. This was really helpful. Good video that.

Shame some people have to slag everything off. Keyboard warriors with an ignorance that only makes them sound pathetic.

I didn't see any of that so far. If you learnt from his driving, that's good news.

How many better amateurs/club drivers that you have been round with are works Black Falcon drivers and have won the N24?

I thought it was a great video and he is very easy to listen to. No clue how fast he is (relative to others), but he is definitely a lot faster and more competent than I would be in my Clio.

None made the kind of mistakes I saw in the video. I am pretty sure he didn't make those mistakes around the Ring though.

Definitely

I don't know him but have seen him on track a few times. Last time was at Silverstone, he was driving a mega looking Cosworth (Texaco liveried RS500 I think). Looked awesome, sounded awesome and he was properly spanking the thing round the track.

The other person I mentioned, Calum Lockie, must have taught hundreds of drivers and a true gent, but many of you already know all that given the number of people who have done Goldtrack events over the years.

OP it was a good video, have a look for Driver61 as well and his youtube channel.

I am pretty sure it was Mike Wilds -

I was at Anglesey with Opentrack a couple of years ago.
They provide free tuition so as I'd never been to Anglesey and it was only my 2nd trackday in a RWD car at the time I went with him.
Tips on the lines were great. I wasn't so happy at the fact he grabbed my steering wheel randomly, and without warning.

He also did the same to my friend and caused him to hit a cone which damaged his bumper.

Apologies if I've had the drivers confused!
