Recommend Nurburgring hotels
Discussion
Hi all;
I know this has been asked before and have performed a search. However good to get up to date recommendations for the 2020 season..
First timer going to the ring this year, and potential only two of us going, what hotel would you recommend? There maybe four of us going (to be confirmed shortly, I supposed if this was the case Linder holiday park looks good?).
Going for Three night in July Friday-Monday.
Also may be stop over on the way, thinking either Brussels or possibly Spa? Any recommendation on this also?
Any help much appreciated.

I stayed here a few years ago for a couple of nights: https://www.nuerburgring-hotel.de/index.php/en/
Staff helpful, rooms clean and not too expensive.

Here is really nice. Owned by a Irish couple who are really helpful - https://www.booking.com/hotel/de/north-loop-rooms....
Otherwise anywhere in Adenau is good.

Weekends aren't much cop at the ring , you'll spend a lot of time in a queue or watching an empty track , if you want any time on the track go Monday to Friday for the evening sessions, late on Sunday is usually quiet though . We've started staying 25 mins along the road at Mayen , it's a decent town with a good selection of restaurants and bars that serve good food , as far as good food goes in Germany!
We've found Adenauer is getting worse for decent food and gets overrun on a weekend , we've been going for the past 18 years so maybe we're just getting old and fussy though !
If you prefer to stay a little more local the best you'll find is the Blau ecke in Adenauer , but we noticed it had gone downhill in terms of food and service last year , parking is also a problem on a weekend.
We've gone a fair few times.
I think the best in terms of everything was Lindenhof.
Tried a place in Adenau, Cant remember the name. Actually. Just searched and it was Ferienwohnung Erika.
it was nice , but a little far away. was a proper big place though, as a group of 4 had lots of room, and also Renn Taxi.
Renn Taxi place was great but Wifi was weak in our room.
Lindenhoff had made an initial mistake not making up my room but they were very as apologetic. Wifi was good. Food was nice.
Depends what you want really whether you want an upmarket place or a comfy bed or anything in between.
I think next year we will either return to the Lindenhof or try for an appartment in Adenau. Our friend had a nice one with a pool although it was October so the Pool didn't get used!

Hotel Nordschleife is also amazing stayed there twice last year and amazing service. If I want to be local I stay there or with Sandra if not I've a spot in Kelberg with a lovely German family we stay in their flat over looking the village. My wife loves it.

My last trip I had one the Cockpit Apartments which is the building you can see in that awesome picture.
Highly recommended, massive apartment with proper kitchen if you need, big TV and living room etc. Also just that bit closer to the track, I don't think there is any accommodation available a few metres away from it! Nice wake up call on when VLN practice kicks off.

Thanks all for the tips!! Some of the above are already booked up on the dates we want...
hotel an der nordschleife and Landhaus Sonnenhof seem to come out on top and have availability.
Anyone recommend Landhaus Sannenhof?
We stayed there 2 years ago, was good, clean, v helpful useful garages which we will hopwfully use again in september, little awkward to find up the top of a hill but look for the signs and its fine. Sadly they didnt serve food of a night.hotel an der nordschleife and Landhaus Sonnenhof seem to come out on top and have availability.

I stayed at Landhaus Sonenhof the first time I was there, thought it was very pleasant indeed, quiet and out of the way, but I've tended to end up going to different places each time, as I usually book late (and think Sonenhof is a bit pricier than others). I tend to just go for budget cheap places tbh, I find most places around there are more or less similar... worst stay was Hotel Rieder in Wiesemscheid, was crappy, and really noisy outside in the carpark (some yoofs had set up with their modded hatches...).
Best/most pleasing so far probably for me is Big Ben's Guesthouse in Mullenbach, which is frighteningly cheap, but actually quite recent, modern and clean, unbeatable value.

Ring Race flats in Adenau is really nice. I stay there every year with friends when we go over. Very private and the apartments are a good size and quiet. The German couple that own it are very sweet and helpful. Close enough to the bars and restaurants that you can walk down in the evening and get a pizza or some beer.
Years ago I stayed at Zum Bockshahn- it's a few miles away but very pleasant & unpretentious.

I've stayed at quite a few over the years. If you want somewhere quiet try :
- Hotel Wilhelmshöhe. It's about 20 mins drive from the track, but the car will be nicely warm by the time you get there.
- Center Parcs Park Eifel, is good too, especially mid week as you can use the pool etc when the track is closed. Can often be a lot cheaper than similar in UK.
- Landhaus Sonnenhof was where we stayed last, lovely spot and a short stroll down into town
- Ring House - Altes Forsthaus - this was years ago, so no idea what it is like now
Hello there. The Nurburgring is really a great place. It is a must-see if you are a tourist. It's a beauty you can't see anywhere else. But unfortunately, there is a problem with the hotels. The thing is that many hotels in this area are often full. People usually book hotel rooms in advance. So still do just that. The chance that you will not find a decent hotel is quite high. Although a variety of luxury accommodation near me is enough, they usually have free rooms. It happens with hotels, except that I have not noticed this in Australia. I stayed in a great hotel with no problems and plenty of rooms available. Here it is fairmontresort. The conditions are really good. Have a great vacation!

I'm going to be at The Ring Inn, newly refurbished, in a months time for Carfreitag
It's not cheap there, but it will be interesting to see how that works out
The only reason I'm not staying with Ohans at Hotel an der Nordschleife is because they were booked up
