Glad you have had fun and have taken instruction. But... No need to run any curbs on any lap right down to sub 8. All it does is unbalance the chassis and increase the risk of an unfortunate incident.

I still remember my excitement and nervousness of that first lap 14 years ago, going under the bridge and seeing the red/white kerb at the side of the track and thinking "I`m actually driving on the nurburgring !!"

Always enjoyable to read someone elses thoughts and experiences of their first laps and trip

No one stops learning this track and you obviously are taking the right attitude towards others and respecting the inherent dangers of driving this track. 21 years since my first laps, which was on a big sports bike with snow either side of the track and areas of track coned off as ice was present. Cars, bikes whatever. You never stop learning about what this track can throw up. Enjoy your journey and please keep the respect. I like to believe I have done this and nowadays I pass this on to the guys that I instruct on a pretty much daily basis at this great track.
