Was wondering what's going to happen to the test track now the electric car plan has been scrapped. Hoping for another (local to me) venue...

I have attended trackdays at Hullavington and Colerne with Motorsport Events in the (distant) past, I see from their website they don't offer days at these airfields any more. I lived at Wootton Bassett at the time, and having Coombe and these two airfields close by was great.

Fingers crossed Hullavington opens up for us again.

My mother lives opposite Hullavington airfield. Dyson is locking the place down so he can't be seen developing electric car technology. Don't hold your breath.

Any news on Kemble? They stopped the days up there as the airfield became cluttered with the breakers' work.

Well they’ve binned the whole electric car thing so why would they continue with that?

Dyson have binned the car project for the moment but not the related battery project.

I'd suspect the cars have been binned because the battery isn't viable yet but as the automotive project workers aren't leaving I could see Dyson using Hullavington as a second R&D campus.
