Motorsportdays Live - Silverstone
Discussion
Who else is going to Motorsportdays live and heading home on track at Silverstone?
I’ll be on track in my BMW M140i with new uprated fluid and ferodo pads 😁 for the pistonheads track day section.
I’ll then be on track in Mazda MkIII race car and passenger in a ginetta G55.
Hopefully the weather isn’t too bad.

I will be there in my 981 Cayman for the Pistonheads track time. First taste of track driving which should be interesting. Hoping the wear on consumables shouldn't be too bad given the total of 30mins track time!
Out of interest, how did you sort the Mazda MkIII race car and passenger ride in a ginetta, I have tried, but not sure who to contact to get something booked.

If you're interested in going racing, then I'm sure most teams/series will be keen to get you out. The list of those on track is here: https://www.motorsportdays.live/2019-exhibitors/?t...Out of interest, how did you sort the Mazda MkIII race car and passenger ride in a ginetta, I have tried, but not sure who to contact to get something booked.
You're probably best off contacting them directly to book a drive if there's something of particular interest. We're hosting the track sessions so have a chat with us while you're there and we'll see if we can give you some pointers.

Despite the crap weather it was an awesome morning on track. Was worried I’d be skating all over the place but couldn’t believe how much grip there was out there!
Won’t be too concerned about doing a track day in the wet in future, at least not at silverstone.
We need more people to be signing up to these Pistonheads track days so they will do more. I’ve been on two in the past few months and track etiquette has been spot on!
