First time out it can be a bit daunting as it’s wide (compared to a lot of UK circuits) and there are a few blind rises where all you can see is sky and sea! Fantastic track though once you learn the layout. Plenty of runoff mostly, just take it steady on the last corner going onto the pit straight, that’s the only place there’s much to hit (the pit wall) if you get a bit oversteery!

Hi Chaps and chapesesesesss
Doing Anglesy next month, I've done a few track days before.
Anything I need to consider or watch out for? I'm mid engined, quite light and not particularly fast. Any technical tips welcome!
Thanks maybe see you there
Chris
When are you going Chris? I am doing the 1st October there. I have driven the circuit before but this will be my first time in the Megane R26 I bought a few weeks ago. As the others have said, it is a fantastic track, stunning scenery, but is likely to be cold and windy and probably wet!Doing Anglesy next month, I've done a few track days before.

I've only done it a couple of times, but it's mostly a great circuit.
Last time was the now defunct Apex Trackdays - we ran Coastal in the morning and GP in the afternoon. Have to say, I'd have preferred to run Coastal all day - GP only really suits powerful cars with the drag to the hairpin and back - not a Mk1 MX5 like I had. Spent all afternoon getting out of the way of faster (in a straight line) cars.
The Corkscrew on Coastal is awesome - a bit like Laguna Seca. 'The Banking' took some getting used to - and Rocket was where I learned the value of trail braking RWD cars.
A shame it's in the arse end of nowhere, as it makes it very difficult to do a day there.
