Hi all,

I've booked a Javelin track day at Thruxton on 23rd July 2019 but since booking, my car is in need of some repairs which could take weeks. I no longer can attend the day but am unable to get a refund as I booked it through trackdays.co.uk. I can however, change the name of the booking to someone else. Would anyone here be keen to take this off my hands for £150? It cost me £159 initially and would be much appreciated!

Thanks

I've now paid for this thanks to the OP look forward to having some fun round Thruxton soon! Last time I was there my car was to slow to enjoy the back of the circuit so taking something a bit faster this time - 350z.

Thanks to the OP for the entry was a good day on track, with over taking allowed on both sides the first hour saw some interesting moves but settled down after that. This was without doubt the hottest track day I've driven and the cars all coped with the heat (probably better than the drivers - it was like being in Perth WA in summer it was that hot!).

Gave my Primera GT its last track outing as have now got a 350z to replace it (I think the Primera is more fun on some tracks due to its amazing handling but RWD V6 wins over FWD 2.0). Thruxton is known for being tough on tyres but amazingly my chinese Giti semi slicks coped with no wear despite extreme high temps all day, saw quite a few other cars where the Front Near side tyre was destroyed.

Was anyone else there?

The photos are now up on Javelin site.
