Hi All, I'm very new to this but I am looking for some advice please. I would like to buy my husband a track day / driving experience for a very special birthday and wondered which supercar would be best. I can imagine he would love to drive McLaren, but problem is the only ones i can find have height restrictions. He is 6 ft 6" and the McLarens seem to have a limit of max height at 6ft 2!!! Any others you guys can recommend please. Happy to spend up to £150 ish. I think i have seen some at about £125, but just wondered what the best ones are to go for and if they are super strict on the height. As i saw one (cant remember which cars) and the max height was 6ft 5... do i risk it? Thanks so much for your help.

Best thing to do is give them a call and check. I'm 6'5 and can fit in a modern McLaren but never done a track experience day in one. Porsche 911s will have the most room and the Audi r8 is not too bad.

is it just a supercar experience you're after for your SO? because if you want some more track time for him, then Brands Hatch do a BMW M4 experience, the uper tier package of which gives the person a bit more track time than the cheaper package, plus time with the instructor discussing driving the track etc.

Something to think about smile

Another good thing about this is that he should be pretty comfortable driving an M4 too

Yeah, but a track day experience might involve wearing a crash helmet as well - I'm under 6ft (*just) and some cars I can't fit in with a lid on.

Other solution - look for an experience in an open-top car.....
