Hi

I'm looking to do a trackday at Spa around September/October, but this would be my first TD in Europe. Currently the only TDO I can see that do those dates are RSR I think. 1stly, are they any goood? and am I missing any other companies who do days at Spa? At this time of year.

The other thing is recovery just in case something happens. As I will be driving there, are there any good breakdown companies that will help me get the car back if something happens?

I've done maybe over 10 trackdays in the UK but this would be the first one out. Also I might go and check out the ring after but just to look as dont fancy the TF.

Spa would be the biggest track I've done also discounting bedford so any advice would be appreciated.

The car is an MR2 turbo with a built engine, extra oil cooling/bigger rads. Uprated suspension and brakes with carbotech xp8 pads. Currently on AD08R tyres.

I instruct on many days at spa for various organizers. RSR being one of them.
Have you checked Circuit-days trackday there on 1/2 October. Great friendly trackday that is more like a UK trackday with guys in all shapes and sizes of tracktool. The premium type day of RSR are great as numbers are low but you do pay a premium for that.
Most guys do Spa as their first euro trackday and for many good reasons. Is is an awesome track that is easy to reach once on mainland Europe.
Oh yes, I also instruct for Circuit-days so would recommend a slot of instruction to really help you on your way.

I did look at circuit days but the only two spa dates they have are already booked out. I'd definitely go with some instruction on a new track anyway.

Circuits days events at Spa always sell out early. For good reason.
Presume you have looked at the Spa calender. Others on there are Pistonclub, DSK, Goldtrack.

I didn't realise they had an events calendar, I probably wouldve gone with Circut days if it was available. I've had goldtrack recomended to me before, are they any good?

Nowt wrong with Goldtrack. In fact all the organizations that provide dates at spa do a good job.

Yes I am, plus all the previous and later ones this year. If you have an instruction request of any sort. Contact Jacques at the Spa office.

Goldtrack are superb. As are RSR and Circuit-Days.

Just make sure you get some instruction and enjoy. Nothing comes close to SPA imho.
