I’m thinking to do a day on the National circuit at Silverstone with MSE with 105dB static and 102dB drive by limits in my ZZR1400 powered car. I’ve no concerns over the static as previously the car has tested at 97-99dB, however reading up it seems drive by can be an issue for BECs, chiefly induction noise, but I do at least have a fabricated ally air box on top of the engine.

Can anyone who has run a BEC at Silverstone or other tracks with similar limits chip in with their experience?

Ta!

If you're under 100 static you'll never have an issue with a 102 drive-by. The only thing you may have to look for is if you have a noticeable bang on the upshift, this can trip drive-by meters.

Thanks Order! The car runs a flatshifter system too and there's no pops or bangs on upshifts whatsoever.
