Stone chip protection?
Discussion
Track days certainly do contribute to a large likelihood of stonechips and also rubber marking the car, some rubber is easily removed and some can permanently mark the paint.
I was thinking of PPF for mine but it is very expensive and I'm not sure how much it would protect the paint.
So far this year I have only done Donington once and Bedford twice and have picked up quite a few marks and chips between them.

I repainted front of my track day car two years ago, now it looks like I never did it. I’m going to do it again and look at some PPF.
Yeah I’ve looked into the armour fend. But it’s around 700 quid. I honestly dont need something Gucci. Maybe 20 quid. Slap it on before a trackday. Cost is the main driver really as could always get it resprayed instead.
Maybe clear plastidip?
I've never had an issue with stonechips AT a trackday because as already mentioned the surface is normally very clean, however some of my biggest chips to date have been either on the way to or from a trackday due to following people with sticky tyres on a real road!
If you notice somebody have an 'off', stay well clear and probably take 15mins in the pits to let somebody else clean up the track for you.

Clear plastidip is the answer, several layers.
Peels off when you want to replace it.
Personally, I agree with those who say race tracks are the cleanest roads in the country, and I cannot say i have had trouble with rubber either.
But I am not doubting those who say the opposite.
Airfield trackdays are much more of a mixed bag, and live RAF airfields are a definite No NO.
On the latter, the main runway surface is coated in abrasive grit to help the planes stop from speed.
This absolutely shot blasts your paint and windscreen, and you really don't want a Tornado landing on your roof either.
