Nurburgring - when to drive

A group of us are heading over to the ring the weekend of 11th May.
After seeing many positive reviews we have booked Lindner for Fri-Mon.

Due to travel i think time on the ring will be limited to the Saturday and Sunday. Are there any times during the day that a more favourable/less busy for a set of novices?
Should we be up at the crack of dawn to be out early or does it look to quieten down during the afternoon?


We have all done many track days before, just not at the ring.

I suspect that any clever plans to avoid a crowd would quickly be derailed by any track closures or changes in weather.
