Hi,

A friend of mine has given to me a set of slightly used Carbon Lorraine Pads (I'd say they have at least 95% of life on them)

I am putting them on new discs, so I'm wondering if I should bed them as if they were new, or if maybe I could sand them to remove possible chemical deposits on them, or something else that I might be missing.

Trashing them is not an option, as they are almost brand new. I think my friend put them on his road car, and was horrified by the squeal and immediately changed to other brand.

Thanks

Bed them in as if they were new.

Although CL's don't really require a proper bed in procedure because they don't leave any transfer to the disc as such.
