Bedding used pads on new discs
Discussion
Hi,
A friend of mine has given to me a set of slightly used Carbon Lorraine Pads (I'd say they have at least 95% of life on them)
I am putting them on new discs, so I'm wondering if I should bed them as if they were new, or if maybe I could sand them to remove possible chemical deposits on them, or something else that I might be missing.
Trashing them is not an option, as they are almost brand new. I think my friend put them on his road car, and was horrified by the squeal and immediately changed to other brand.
Thanks
