E90 Harness Mounting - help!
Discussion
Hi, I have an E90 track car where OEM seat belt is mounted directly to seat on both sides
I am installing bucket seat & harness. Rear mounting points are all fine, but mounting lap belt is challenging;
On the left hand side of drivers seat there is plenty of space to put an eyelet and bracing plate into the chassis.
However, on the right hand side, there is nowhere to mount until you are right in the rear footwell which seems too far back, and belt is running at min 90 degrees to direction of travel (is this a correct assumption that mounting here would not be a good idea?)
I have thought about mounting directly into the side mounts of the bucket seat - but something seems inherently wrong about doing this - if using the same hardwear (and given OEM mounted directly to seat) would there be anything prohibitive to taking this approach?
Thanks!

Are your harness ends fitted with clips to attach to eyes or holes to bolt through?
If holes I would bolt through the eyes to the seat runner mounting bolts based on the principle that as the current belts are attached to the seat then the seat mounting points & bolts are strong enough.
