Budget phone mount for recording video
Discussion
I only do a couple of track days a year and so I can't justify spending a lot, but I quite fancy filming my track days using my phone. I've downloaded the track addict app which looks like it will be fine but I'm struggling to find a cheap easy of solidly mounting the phone.
The car is a standard 308 GTi and so it has no cage to use. Plus I've got no intention of screwing or permanently fixing a mount. Phone is a Huawei P20 pro. A decent windscreen sucker mount is an option, but I'm not keen on restricting my vision, plus I've read that many tracks won't allow it.
Headrest mounts like this would be fine if I also got an adapter for the phone, but it's more than I want to spend for the amount of use it will get.

I've seen headrest mounts for a lot less that just clamp to one of the posts. I may be wrong but I can't imagine that these would be stable enough.
Any ideas? £10 to £20 is preferably budget if poss...
Thanks

Thanks all. I've gone with your suggestions and ordered a cheapish, but well reviewed window mount. Its a simple one which will keep the phone close to the windscreen to minimise any movement. I've also ordered a cheap silicone band that acts like a rubber band to strap the phone tight to the mount. Plan as above is to mount it just the other side of the mirror and then use a cable tie as an additional back up tether.
I'm not on a track day till Feb so have plenty of time to see how stable this is first.
Thanks

I'm going to tell you right now that this will vibrate like hell at speed on a track, but good luck nevertheless.I'm not on a track day till Feb so have plenty of time to see how stable this is first.
