i'll be in the market for some new discs for both track and daily road use and i'm torn between the current choices of 2 peice discs.
there doesnt seem to be any mid-way disc between factory discs (£240) and 2peice (£830+) so the only upgrade option that's been available for the last few years are 2 peice.
the Factory discs are drilled and i'm seeing slight cracking from the holes now - nothing to be concerned about but with the plan to use rs29 pads and ps4s/cup2 tyres, i suspect heat in the discs will become higher and cracking more of a concern.

uprated options are Tarox, EBC and Girodisc - are they all much of a muchness at this price range?

Don't use "drilled" discs on track - search for some slotted or even solid/blank discs. Some decent fluid, good pads and you'll likely find blank discs are more than capable. Look at all race cars ever, they use slotted or blank discs and almost never drilled.

As part of your braking system, the type of disc will make the smallest performance difference (as opposed to good pads and fluid).
