Action camera mounts for car with Roll Cages

I'm looking for some ideas where best to place my GoPro.

Right in the middle, just rearward of the seats. A good view out the windscreen and you can also see what the driver is doing.

If you're asking about how to actually mount it then I just use a Pedco Ultra Clamp in various places on the car. This is the only picture I can find (not great)...



If you're asking about the actual best position, well lower viewpoints give a much better perception of speed but higher viewpoints give a "nicer" view really. I mucked around with different positions at Rockingham a while back for a direct comparison:

I also use AIM smarty cam HD, a lot better than my previous go pro with a lot more information build in.
