TVRCC track day.

I will be staying local Thursday night. Where are people staying? (Who is going from here?). This place looks nice www.keddingtonhouse.co.uk/

As I'm coming from darn Sarth, is it worth me coming around the M18/M180 route timewise? Last time I drove up at the crack of dawn on a Sunday across country Not sure it'll be so clear at 6pmish on a weekday.

Also, what's with the tape required over the headlamps thing in the TVRCC instructions? First time I've ever needed to do this. If I hit something there will be more to worry about than bits of plastic cowling on the racing line.

I'll be there in my S.

Well that was fun We were lucky the weather stayed fine all day.

The T350 certainly loves the track, it's even good enough to mask the fact that I'm pretty crap on the track

I love that circuit!

It was realy nice to see so many S's there too even though I was in a different group. It was good to see them going round.

The T350 looked stunning I took some pics but am worse than useless with posting pics on PH. If anyone wants to see them drop me a line.

If you happened to get any nice photos of my flame thrower I'd definately like to see them! Anyone else manage to get photos?

Great day again at my favourite circuit and only one smash!

Nice shots! Much better than mine. Can you send me a copy of the piccy of my car? (funny how the photo makes my numberplate look wonky - must be the g-forces ).

So what was the scoop with the Saxo/rear engined thingy? I didn't take a close look in the paddock - it looked like someone had spent a lot of time building it. What engine did it have in it?

We think the 'sexo' was set up as a grass track racer and not for the track. This would explain the general handling seen on the day. The engine was a bike engine of some kind.

Did anyone get any pics of the Black S?

I think for the next event we should arrage some co-ordinated picture taking so we all end up with pics of our cars.

Anyone else going to Oulton Park?

Yep, and were fine for the following day - a 150 mile roundtrip East Midlands TVRCC meet!!

However it's booked in for the brakes to be reviewed in preparation for next time.

What happened to your car? (it looked ace!).

Sorry, I feel for you - tell us it was cheap to fix please.

(Interestingly appropriate phrase in your profile?!?)
