Hi,

We are going to the Nurburgring again in September, we stay at Adenau, I've heard you can go tobogganing within an hour from Adenau, does anyone know where this is? also where is the best place for a few beers at night, somewhere lively close by?

any advise appreciated

Thanks
Lee

Pig Park in Daun, more than just the Tobogan thing.

Tobogan thing in Altenahr.

Both about the same distance from the ring in opposite directions.

I find the next big drop after Pflanzgarten does replicate the tobogganing thing quite well.

I'd do the one in Daun, Lee.

If you've got any family with you (missus or kids) there's a park next to it that you can drive through that is full of wild boar, deers, and monkeys. You can stop up and handfeed the deer etc. smile

If you need any other tips just let me know, I've lived in Adenau for 20 years now.

Thanks for advice. Not going with kids 12 lads doing a car trip. I can’t see anyone wanting to take nice cars to see the monkeys lol.

Any other adrenaline things around to do?

Karting up at the ring boulevard.

Helicopter flight around the ring.

3 hour Quad riding tour around the area.

Go to Cologne for a slight shock (link might not possibly be entirely worksafe, maybe, perhaps).
