Yarp. Watch out for a white Civic.
Going with a group of mates so should be fun.
Will do! I'll be in thisGoing with a group of mates so should be fun.

Ideally hoping it will be dry so don't have to change wheels.

That looks very nice

Any chance of a passenger ride? - would of course return the favour if you like.
I’m booked on this with my ugly 1 series along with a few others of the same.
Forecast is looking good.

Yeah should be able to... come and have a chat, plan on being out as much as possible!

Just looked on Javelin site and the day has sold out now... counted 94 cars.
Hope everyone had a good day.
All went well for me until I got flagged for racing my friend in a focus
Sam, didn’t catch you for a chat but had a look at your car and it looked fab (and very fast on track). All the right ingredients.... making me miss my old one!
Really quick blue clio - was that someone here?
Had a blast with my friend in a focus and also fantastic laps with an Evo!!!

Well I had a good morning... say morning as got booted off before lunch for going over noise regs. Managed 4 session, no problem at all in the first 2 then started to get a 'noise' board on the 3rd, then finally the dreaded black flag on the 4th... game over.
Turns out my exhaust system had worked itself loose so was progressively getting louder and louder, didn't realised what it was in till we were leaving the pits with obviously helmet off and window open. By that time I just couldn't be bothered to fix it then and there; An glad I didn't as 3 out of 6 bolts were missing and gaskets were blown.
Had a few good plays with the Aerial Atom, real nice guy too, didn't catch his name though.
Went on the day thinking I wasn't going to have all that much grip as the Nankang AR1's I'm currently on are now 2 years old but they were amazing!
Have some pictures and videos to follow.

I had fun! did a bit of grass mowing too
Need to sort a few things out on the civic, top priorities are;
Front outer CV - sounds like death but still lasted the day!
Better front pads & new fluid - Thinking Ferrodo DS2500 and fresh Motul RBF600
New Steering wheel - current one is a Chinesium "Mugen" item and is a little scary when its flexing
Rear anti-roll bar - got an MG ZS 180 one coming that is a huge upgrade apparently.
New wheels and tyres - need to drop down to 16s, 17s are scrubbing.
Fixed Seat - trying to find one that fits!
Health check also needs to happen on the B18C engine, found a local Type-R specialist.

Lol first chicane, the green bits are for bunnies, the black bit is for you. Good lap otherwise. git-r said:
....and you’re just as bad, or worse.
Best I have is 2:47, did a 2:50 on AD08r in the damp last year. Someone else driving my car went 2:43. I think I’ve improved enough to get near it recently.
Watch this from 3:40min Mark for the 2:50 on a track that got wetter as it went on, notice the auto wipers swiping a few times lol. https://youtu.be/l9fvPAtgrBY
Jon’s 2:43. Notice how polite he is in giving the Clio room to clear the hairpin (2.2 secs lost here) . https://youtu.be/X270CfywQ1w
