Motorsport Events are the main track day operator at Abingdon but I haven’t seen their 2018 airfield track day schedule published as yet. Here’s hoping they’re working on finalising the details rather than pulling out of the scene.

I've also been looking for events at Abingdon but turned nothing up. Anyone more regular able to shed some light on how often they host track days?

Usually once a month with ME.

Speak to Tasha there if you want to find out what's happening this year.

thanks peeps

i emailed and they said should have stuff up in next couple of weeks so I will keep an eye out.

Looks like might be free lessons available if you book as a group of 10 or more so will message on here in case anyone else is interested.

Harsh surface? I did Kendrew last year and it was like driving on a cheese grater.

Keeping an eye on this though, wouldn't mind spending some time in the area and it's a good excuse.

Abingdon is always a Friday. Great fun going home on the Oxford ring road on a Friday evening! Stop, start, Stop, start, Stop, start, Stop, start, Stop, start, Stop, start, Stop, start......

Sadly this is what kills it for me. Going the opposite direction but then I have to try and get past Stonehenge on the A303, on a Friday evening. Forget it.

Do track day, go to pub to chill out for dinner afterwards then head home after the traffic. Or B&B it locally maybe.

Or nip through Larkhill and avoid the traffic.

I'll be there this Friday.
Done Abingdon once before. Going again as it's fairly convenient for me.
I recall the layout felt a little more fun than the Youtube videos would lead you to believe.
