Discussion
Hi All,
Heres a little more info on the Saturday track day schedule from Goodwood:
The Jackie Stewart Pavilion will be open from 07.30 and coffee machine will be up and running from around 07.45.
07.30 – Main Gates Open
07.45 – 08.30 – Driver Sign On – Sign on is the ground floor of the Jackie Stewart Pavilion
08.00 – 08.30 – Noise Testing
08.30 – 09.00 – Driver Briefing – Driver Briefing will be on ground floor of the Jackie Stewart Pavilion
09.00 – 12.00 - Track Live
12.00 – 13.00 – Lunch – Served on the First Floor of Jackie Stewart Pavilion
13.00 – 16.00 – Track Live
16.00 – 16.30 – Track Closed – Guests Depart
The Circuit is normally run in 15 minute sessions – with as many cars as noise restrictions allow, on the track at the same time – This will keep going until the lunch hour then again after lunch until 4.00pm (Unless weather conditions or day light cause the track to shut earlier)
Any questions, let me know!

Wow, what a great trackday today - hardly any cars meant loads of track time - never had so much at Goodwood.
Thanks to PH for organising this - my little Mini JCW Challenge faired well out there
Roll on the next Goodwood trackday - the circuit suits these little pocket rockets
Good to meet a few people out there - think everyone had fun and no bumps - which is always a good thing.

Could not agree more . Do not understand why only 16 cars . This is a great day and as cheap as you can get on Goodwood . Track dried out and weather forecast had been stable all week . Really hope Pistonheads did not lose money on the day and put next year in doubt . 800 cars for tomorrow and I say again only 16 today .... come on all petrolheads , get out and support next year !!!!

Another thanks to the PistonHeads and Goodwood team for an excellent track day today. After the sun came out, the track became safe from ice and frost and we had 16 cars out in 2 groups of 8, so loads of space and plenty of time to practice lines and techniques.
The support from the instructor was superb for 2 Goodwood novices so when you add in helmet hire, expert tuition, lunch, tea/coffee and 2 drivers for just over £200 is good value in my humble opinion.
I for one will be back next time at Goodwood.
Thanks team.

Was yours the white one? You were flying! One of the only cars that caught me in my Civic. I was going to try and stay with you as you went past, but I was running out of fuel and losing power on the righthanders. Thanks to PH for organising this - my little Mini JCW Challenge faired well out there

Hi Alex - yes indeed it was white with black stripes - it’s one of the JCW Challenge editions which is very track focused - plus it may have been running a few more horses with a Racechip
Thanks Pistonheads for organizing the track day - great day with lots of driving time and fantastic bang-for-buck adding in the lunch and the fact it's Goodwood. Also much appreciated the goodie bag.
Unfortunately we had to stop 2 sessions post lunch, as our shed (aka the MGZT) started to develop clutch judder and inconsistent shifting - probably banged up some motor and/or tranny mounts.
Also a thank-you from my other half, who very much appreciated the gentlemanly driving of all participants whilst doing her second track day.
