Best Driving Experience EVER!!!!
Discussion
Hi, I have to say I have never had a better days driving experience in my life. I have been on a days training with Bernard Aubry who has to be the best and most smoothest driver out there. I have been on a few training courses / track days and never before have I learnt so much in one day. Bernard then takes over and drives your car very swiftly but so smoothly. He is a total genius in reading other drivers and can tell you what they will do next. He reads the road and other drivers so well. I really highly recommend a day with Bernard. no matter what you drive. You can contact him on Mobile 07768391552, Work 01798875211.
p.s He has trained all of Porsches current driving instructors and was also one himself. Best thing is, it is a pure one to one training session. Cannot recommend him enough.

Who have you used previously? I've done a day with Bernard and was rightly impressed. I think the key thing is to pick one you get along with.
As I've said elsewhere, I've used Bernard, Don Palmer and Anthonny Dunn. Anthonny is fantastic on the track with me, really confidence inspiring (see www.iwannagofaster.com) Don has a very unique teaching technique that not everybody will benefit from. Bernard is a true gentleman, very patient and excellent at making you understand something.
I've got a day booked up with Andy Walsh in a couple of weeks, I look forward to what he has to offer in terms of high speed cornering advice which is something that is now bothering me.
Video of my day (well, the edited version thanks to Diver944) with Don is on Pistonheads.tv - I went there with the desire to learn more about being controlled when over the limit and that's the knowledge I came away with.
If you want to be quicker on track, get Anthonny with you at Bedford.

I was recommend to Bernard by a friend of mine who had booked in on a session. He has a 360CS and a Lambo Murci and he wanted to learn how to drive and me with my new 997s safely and properly. I rang Bernard, what a gentleman he is and very softly spoken. You dont have to book any tracks, nothing (apart from booking Bernard of course) Bernard does everything for you. We started of at the Military track in Cobham, on this round circular, like a skid pan. Apparently some of the car magazines test here also. Plenty of car control and oversteer. This was to explain oversteer and understeer and also the imaginary piece of string that connects throttle and the steering. Bernards quote "understeer is what you see when you hit it and oversteer is what you dont see" After a couple of hours on track, he jumped into the drivers seat of the 997s and hits the back roads of Surrey......amazing what happens from here onwards, you have to experience this for yourself. You wont be disappointed, I am still going on about it.
Yes, I saw the video, very good. Poor tyres....DP course is very very sore on the car. I dont even have 600 miles on the clock. Not ready for this sort of action yet.
The track days I have been to so far are Mondello, Silverstone, Kirkistown and Knockhill

Two others of similar calibre are Hugh Noblett at Cadence and Don Palmer. You can find both their details and web sites here:
