What ultra performance tyres are there available for 22" wheels?

Has anyone had any experience of them?

They are going on a project car that will be used for the odd road mile and a few track days. Vehicle is around 1400kg with 470bhp so nothing to crazy but quite heavy. Just looking for something readily available with high grip
Levels in the dry.

Cheers

Why does it have to be 22"? Seems an odd choice for a perfomance car given the higher unsprung weight.

It because I need to achieve the highest rolling radius possible. All of the 18" options are too small.

You can find the Toyo Proxes R888 in either 285/35R20 or 315/30R20

I ave today done a back to back test of the Toyo R888R and the Kumho V70 in a medium company and the V70 offers greater grip, didn't overheat compared to the Toyo.

However the Kumho seems to max out at 18".

Have you looked at the Avon ZZR?

Why such large wheels?
Are you driving a RR sport on track?

It's a Bowler Tomcat

It's only a fun project as most of its life is spent doing comp safaris, so on tarmac it's a bit of a compromise. Unfortunately no one make a 265/85 performance tyre! Hence the big wheel choice to keep the gearing the same.

On a set of 285/35/22 she will be geared to 142mph which sounds about right to me.

I'm really struggling with the idea of running 22" wheels on this.

Stadium trucks run on a Toyo All terrain tyre, how do we think an all terrain type tyre would hold up on track? I can't imagine it doing anything other than melting after a few laps?
