Supercar Track Day Tips
Discussion
Bob,
I did one of these about 12 years ago. I decided it was the only chance I was gonna get to cane a Fezza so would come out of the blocks hot, so to speak!
I was expecting it to be dull and I was expecting the chap to tell me to go easy but to my surprise he was egging me on and giving me some good instruction.
Up to this point I had maybe 3 or 4 trackdays in my scooby under my belt.
Following the laps he said thanks to me! Said it was very rare they got anyone who actually wanted to drive the car and it made a nice change!!!
My advice, get on it from the get-go.
Warning - I upgraded to a 450bhp sportscar within 12 months cause the shove was addictive

^^^^ Wot 'e said.
Had the same last year, instructor asked my experience, told him many TDs under my belt etc, he said "I will see how you get on for the first 2 corners" & after that, he said "go for it fella, I will but in if I am worried", if he doesn't feel comfortable, he will interrupt you.
