Unless your talking about an absolutely sodden water logged track i wouldnt bother with either. A good track based road legal tyre will perform much better in 'normal' wet conditions.
However RS3s felt much less inspiring than the older RS2s. I also killed a brand new pair of 3s on a dryish day, had 7mm tread but soft walls meant cuts appeared on very edges exposing the canvas.
I found PS3 ok when compared with both RS2s and RS3s on wet roads. Havent tried PS4s yet.

I've used PS3 as wets and when it's properly wet they were far better than GG compound R888 and Medium Kumho V70A.

I'm going to be using R888R for the dry but fancy trying something different for the wet. The PS4 and RS3 certainly get rave reviews for wet performance.

I'd vote PS4.

The Uniroyal might have the slight edge in aqua performance, but it's a very soft tyre both in construction and sidewall strength, so that means the risk of overheating, even in the wet is high, and the turn-in will feel sloppy compared to the PS4.

I use rainsport 3 tyres on my clio as wets. I cannot fault them at all. Make sure you get the extra load ones with the stiffer side walls. I belive the non extra load ones have very soft side walls.

This test might be useful.

It show's how poor the R888R is in the wet, and how far road tyres have come!

No 'normal' road tyres in that test though. Its only the yoko and toyo that come in less than 215/17s.

The Sport Contact 6 is a UHP road tyre.

Indeed, it is, alas although they say they tested it against a "normal road tyre" they then assume it is the csc6 but then give no data for comparison?

Where is that in the test?

If you have a read, under each graph is the CSC6's result. I even made it bold :/

I couldn't include them in the graphs as that would mean databasing the result, which I can't do as I'm not 100% sure it is the CSC6.

95% sure though.

This is what the CSC6 looks like, was it that or not?

Auto Bild haven't said what the tyre was, and there's no pictures.
