What happened to mates rates trackdays?

Just been looking for the thread and found a bookmark to it but its been removed.

They set up one to try it out but don't think they achieved their aim of filling and offering discount, so could well be that it wasn't profitable and hasn't encouraged them to do any more.
Hopefully thats not the case and they will try again, but the website works but shows no new events.

I'm not surprised by that but its a good concept. I found their Facebook page so will drop them a message to see if there is any news.

It's a great idea, gutted I missed their first installment due to childbirth. Really hoping they decide to do it again!

We're still alive. We never intended to be a full time TDO. 3 mates put their balls on the line and we pulled off a successful day. The costs of tracks makes the concept unviable in the warmer months.....or maybe the concept is viable and people will pay significantly more for a low numbers trackday? Unfortunately we're not in the position to risk five figures find out. Ha.

A winter day / early season next year is on the cards with any luck.
