Hey peeps. Went to the Circuit-Days trackday at Anglesey last weekend and had an absolute blast. Never been with Circuit-Days before but I'd highly recommend them. Also this was my first time properly driving at Anglesey and it's a fantastic track, lots of interesting sections, some decent elevation change and beautiful scenery. We were really lucky on the day to have an afternoon of sun and a dry track after a grey and wet morning. If you're tempted by an S2000 as a track car, they are quite expensive these days but I don't know another car you could have this much fun in as mostly standard for the money. Hope you enjoy the vid as much as I enjoyed driving!

Good skills. We're the TDO ok with all the drifting at the end?

Yup. I got a 'respect for going hard' comment from one of the organisers towards the end. I guess its how you treat it - I worked up to it slowly, only really drifted the last couple of sessions I did. I also didn't bin it into the grass or spin all over the place. Anglesey are pretty relaxed about noise as they are so remote. I wouldn't fancy my chances on many other tracks though.

Great vid. Lovely driving. Have always been fond of S2000s, brilliant cars even in stock form. Watched your lap of Nur last night, brilliant stuff.

Was mega fun in the wet and the track seemed very quiet in the morning. No spins from me anyways!

Once the track dried for the afternoon it made me really knuckle down and concentrate on being clinical/clean and that was when I had the off (one of one moments that day). As said elsewhere apologies for causing the red flag mate, i know we had a few that day and it's not something I have done before in nigh on ten years of consistent track days. The odd one due to mechanical failure but never from an off before anyways.

Group of us on the S2Ki forum hire Curborough for the day a few times a year, would be good to see you there if you are up for it?

Thanks mate! If you don't go off occasionally then you're not doing it right in my opinion, the whole point of a track day is to have fun, push your limits and find out about your car. You don't learn things without making mistakes - I've certainly had my fair share, I went off into the gravel trap at Donington's old hairpin at about 80MPH last year!

I could certainly be up for Curborough. Cool place for a mini lap time competition!
