Track day for Birthday present

Girlfriend is car mad, and has birthday coming soon.

We live in South West, but can easily get 'up country'....

Looking for suggestions: a 1/2 day or so, where she gets some instruction and then chance to 'race' around a track a few times.

Recommendations appreciated.

I wouldn't go for Combe, I'd stick to a "safer" circuit like Bedford. Book a day via MSV and tuition is £25. You've then got a MK and the theatre nearby for the evening.
