Lots of run off. You'd do well to hit anything. The only thing they are very hot on is noise. The limit is very low. There are 3 or 4 microphones around the track and its one strike and your out, no chance to make your car quieter. Its a fun track.
What he said! I've been to a few other tracks and still thoroughly enjoy Bedford. Need to make the most of it before it becomes a housing estate....
I'm heading to Bedford on Monday with Javelin.
It is a pretty safe circuit with loads of run off for the most part. That said, I have experienced an E46 M3 hurtling towards me while I was standing in the pits when the driver lost control coming onto the pit straight - he hit the gravel trap and rolled it a couple of times before ending upside down just in front of a car heading out onto track.
So yes, generally safe, but it's still possible to get it badly wrong.
