Plan makes it looks boring, but is it a fun track/place to spend the day/overall experience?

One of my favourite circuits. Not particularly technical, but there are some challenging corners and you will never get bored of going flat through the Bomb hole. It's got two long straights, so high speeds are achievable in powerful cars.

I've done Snetterton about 15 times in the last 4 years, so yes you could say it's good ! Many people disregard Snett as 'boring' but they're not trying hard enough. The combination of sweeping bends, really technical sections and glorious straights make it one of my favourite circuits in the UK.
Since Dr Palmers purchase, investment has been large and the benefits are already evident with improved facilities for drivers and spectators. If you book up with the right company (uk-trackdays.com being one of the best at this circuit) they have plenty of things for spectators to get involved with. I even did hovercrafting this monday.
Great circuit, good facilities (loads of garages, massive paddock) and good entertainment subject to the organisers...........go on book up

Snett's a fantastic circuit; very under estimated and not tried enough. Being tucked away in East Anglia it’s not the easiest place to get to but it’s definitely worth a visit. I am of course biased because it’s my local circuit, but I have driven pretty much every other circuit in the UK and Snett doesn’t grade to badly in comparison. As said above keeping it flat through the bomb hole is a great moment. See the PH's calendar for dates at Snetterton.

Yes really enjoyed Snett. As said the bomb hole is fab - most memorable corner I have driven I think - make sure your wheel hits the drain on the inside - keep your foot in and it will usually spit you out in the right place - a real test of belief in the car though for an inexperienced track driver like me.

Whilst the two corners that divide the straights look similar on a map they are very different and I never really got the esses right all day.

I agree it looks a bit dull, but it really isn't

Go - you'll enjoy it

Top track, Its where the pic of the Tiga was taken in my profile! Not a lot of gradient change, but high speed straights and some balls out corners to test you (Bomb Hole, Coram etc). Good facilities and the track can provide some excellent racing and overtaking opportunities. I think the most fun type of racing I've seen round there were the Mini's and the Mighty Minis. 4/5 abreast all not budging an inch!! Looked hilarious fun!!!

Raced there in FF and FPA - Probaly my favorite UK circuit! The esses are a really tough corner sequence to get right and then the bomb hole and coram make sure you stay alert :-)

Personally, I can think of plenty of circuits better/ more interesting/challenging than Snett- Cadwell, Oulton, Brands, Donnington and Croft all immediately spring to mind. Good fun to race on as there is plenty of slipstreaming down Rivett straight
