that was a great day.. moist in the morning and dry with some sun... wasnt cold either ..
Car performed faultless, driver had a few few blond moments, including a high speed spin on my very last lap....
nice to meet you & the boys Darren.
Hope journey traffic was kind to you...
hopefully meet up again sometime..

Enjoyed that, morning was a bit indifferent with drying corners and then a dapm and slippery one immediately after, caused me to get a bit muddy at one point!!!! The afternoon was a totallt different experience, dry as you like and confidence grew with every lap. Car behaved itself the only thing letting it down was the cracked downpipe late in the day. Long day for.me, lefy at 04;45 and got home at 20;45 but well worth it.
Good to meet you Andy, you were right, i did enjoy. Also enjoyed the Jag Xjr experience, so much better in the dry than a wet Silverstone, i take back what i said about it Michael!!

That jag was somewhat unexpected - happened to be pax in another car following it at the end of the back straight, gave me a proper giggle how rapidly and agressively it got through the left/right
Hmmmm...thanks for that...was a bit hairy in the morning with much sideways action, but as the day progressed the old girl came into her own...even the instructor said he was surprised how well it handled....just as I over shot the left hander into the pit straight doing a 360 onto the infield!!!! oooopsie!Gassing Station | Track Days | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
