Something different
Discussion
I have recently started my new passion of track days. The budget was ,well not a lot. I started with a 98 c 200 estate automatic !! Stripped her out. Lowered her and fitted some Yokohama. Car was £200 tyres were off eBay for £140 and the springs were cut !! Took it to brands where it was the laughing stock. By the end of the day it wasn't !! I had the best time mixing it up with Clios and type Rs, OK down the straight it didn't have the legs but round the bends it handled so so well. Best time was a very respectable 1.01 !!! Not bad. My new purchase was a slightly modded C230 k. Supercharger messed with , big breaks off a cl500 and wheels off CL500. Brand new set of 18inch Yokohama and stripped out. It's an ongoing project with seats and a cage to follow soon.
It's something different to the 3 series bmw. And she's fast but still can't crack the 1.01 the c200 did. Haven't got the handling just right yet but like I say it's a continuing project.
The car was £600 and tyres were the same. That's it , just a bit of time to tinker and I have the best fun.
Love my manual c230k Keep an eye out for it at brands. You'll know it's the one from the whine of the charger
Happy days
