Donington Park 6th November
Discussion
Morning Morning..
It's looking like we might be lucky with the weather, only a 20% chance of rain.
I've noticed a large number of BMW cars listed as attending the event which makes me wonder if theres a BMW championship due to have a race at Donington in the near future.
Should be good either way :-)
Always keen to hear if there are any photographers going. I'm finding many track day photographs from the offical companies are lacking in style / variety of shots.

Of course you can if I go. If it rains then you're more than welcome. I'm hoping irl be ok and able to make this event. Really enjoy donington. Also be good to give race car 1 last go before it gets put away until next season
Cheers mate, What car will you be in so i can spot you ? Mine will be the White and Green Race Catherham. 2nd Shakedown for me ready for my first race season next year :-)
A bit of footage from the day. Lens fogged up so steering inputs is the only decent thing to watch. My spin at 8 mins something is the first spin in this car in 6 years.

I think it was a good day overall however there was alot of traffic out there most of the time.
Which has its positvies and disavantages to be fair. Also was a shame for my mate daves car above :-(
Heres my video i produced of the day. All i can say is thanks to the guy in the MG at 10:33 who i tried to signal with my hand asking him to stop which he thankfully obliged.
Had a great few battles at the end with the Gold M4 aswell which was great.

I had backed off to take a run at you through that corner so had to be very gentle backing off myself, otherwise I'd have spun right into you.
Fortunately you used the universal hand signal for "please don't crash into me" so I knew what to do.;)
Real shame about the lovely Alfa, not sure he'll ever get that straight.

I'm eternally grateful haha.Fortunately you used the universal hand signal for "please don't crash into me" so I knew what to do.;)
I caught a glimpse of you in my mirrors from Craner Curves and was pushing hard to stay ahead of you. Funny how i'd been holding the slides on that corner all afternoon, right up until that point when i clearly was too eager to try and stay ahead haha.
Ahh well least i learnt the limit. It'd be interesting to see how that lap looked from your vehicle should you have any footage.
