Nurburgring 28 to 31 Octobre TF

I was supposed to be going in my Z4MC, but it's not ready. So the Alfa it is.
The Michelin Cross-Climates will probably melt if it's dry, but will come into their own if it's cold/wet/greasy or torrential storms like we had last year where I was driving at less than 20mph just be able to see which way the track went.

Hopefully it won't be too busy... for once.
You'll be lucky, it's the last big weekend of there year, it's going to be mad. Usual Sunday madness yesterday afternoon! But the morning was great, really expected far more traffic, but was almost deserted.
One point from the afternoon, when are people going to read and understand that there is a law against overtaking on the right!! Even more so when there are Fxxxing double yellows flashing. For christ sake people, its for safety, not just to slow you up a nd wreck your once in a lifetimes chance of setting the fastest ever lap!!

The Friday was ace by 11am I'd put 4 laps in and didn't get down to track till around 9.30am as when it opened was still dark.
On my 2nd lap around 10.15am I never caught up the car in front and was going quick enough to not have much gaining on me so I literally saw 1 car the entire lap which was a German plated Megane eventually catch and pass me in the final KM as I was easing a bit towards the Gantry.
The Saturday I potted around the roads around Nurburgring, and went on around 2.30pm put in 2 laps, the 2nd lap the whole circuit was yellow flagged and the Audi A3 smash had occurred just in front.
Weather Sunday was kind, 1 quick lap in first thing without issue then headed home. Looked at sites later on and seems was a good move as saw the traffic etc.
On a side note R.I.P to the biker that lost there life outside Ring Werk on the Sunday at 1.30pm. Smash on the roundabout between bike and car sent the biker landing a good 40-50 meters up the road. Didn't see it but friends were getting lunch in the Subway and heard the smash and then commotion. Air Ambulance landed in the road and medics tried the best but not to the hoped outcome which was a complete downer at the end of the trip and puts how fragile life is into perspective.

Awful about the biker, I saw the helicopter, presumed it was for a track incident.
I was out there with some friends, Black E46 M3, RS500 Focus RS and Grey Megane. Friday was a treat and managed just over 9 mins on my 4th lap of the Ring, 2 this trip and 2 on the last. We gave up trying to get on track on the sunday, just too busy!
