Hi all
would a 1700 ford puma make a decent track day car, looking at one that is track prepared, with standard engine apart from decat and four branch manifold?
Cheers.

Yes as good as starting point as a Clio etc, small FWD hatch. Due to it's age just check for rust / condition etc have a good old poke about before handing over money.

Join project puma its a fantastic forum with lots of track day cars . As above look for rust everywhere . engines are fantastic if oil changes are kept up on .

Im sure someone who contributes on the Track days section has one.

If you go back a few pages there is a thread about showing a picture of your trackday car.

Track them down and im they will share their experiences and tips.

Thanks for the help, do think you get more for your money if you go for a car that has already been converted?
