First visit to Curborough or any sprint track actually, i usually stick to circuits but was blown away by how fun the day was. With only 9 cars sharing the track it was a properly chilled out day. Still haven't had a chance to geo/corner weight the car since swapping out the zetec for the 1000RR motor so balance was way off! The GP exhaust sounds insane. Cant wait to get back there soon!

I love your shifter set up, is that an off the shelf kit or a DIY job?

Surprised you were allowed out in short slevees ?

All the track days I did in my Fury were all specified long sleeved minimum.

Looks great fun. One of the reasons I stopped doing Curborough was I found it a little too casual...not even St Johns in attendance when I've been. Scary if you need urgent help...

Thanks, yeah the set up is a custom jobbie but you can buy all components from MK Sportscars. I am going to go electronic paddleshift soon though, it can feel a little sketchy on the higher speed tracks taking your hand away from the wheel.

Yeah on a usual day i have full race suit, gloves and trailer the car with full support. Was pretty great to jump in the car and simply drive 30mins to the track and go have a laugh!

Will be looking into sprint series for next year. Just researching into tyres at moment smile. Still a massive amount of chassis set up to dial in though!

Thanks for that, I'll have a look on their website. For some reason I like having the shifter to the side rather than paddle shift but mine is a bit low and a bit Heath Robinson so could do with an upgrade.
