Timing is not allowed on track days - if caught you'll generally get sent home since you're breaching the terms of their public liability insurance. I doubt they will be happy you post up your times post the event either.

While sorting out some photo's I'd taken in the same spot one lunchtime when it was quiet, I did a bit of checking on the timestamps on the files from subsequent laps and came up with rough laptimes for a couple of cars.
Obviously loads of variables and not very accurate but for these particular cars, gives you an idea...
Lotus Elise S2 - 3:00
Porker GT3 - 3:06
VX VXR - 3:02
Scooby STi - 2:58

So that confirms nothing apart from it's probably down to the driver rather than the car and everyone new that anyway....

Now remember, timing on trackdays is bad, it invalidates everyone's insurance and should be discouraged.

As far as I can tell, the fastest cars are the following:
Cars on slicks with A1 drivers
On slicks with average drivers
On road tyres with above average drivers
Everybody else!

A PH howfast, now that would be fun!

Video evidence can only be accepted....new track layout only.

Don't the circuit run a timed event periodically? Surely this would answer any questions.
