Can anyone help?

I am looking to arrange a day, or half day's, instruction for my staff and clients and would like somewhere that offers a mix of fun and learning and possibly road and track skills. Also would like the option of taking our cars or borrowing those from the course. Midlands area prefered but not essential - Can anyone recommend anyone?

Many thanks

I used autoclassica trakshare for a corporate event last year for 12 people at Bedford Autodrome. We had a great time and I took the griff as well...

been on jonathan palmer's thing a couple of times - not cheap but good day out. just pray that palmer doesn't chopper in whilst there and proceed to tell you all about how wonderful he is.

bloody good driver still, though - lol, i managed to take him out in the go kart race he decided to partake in.

earlier bedford aerodrome link should give more info.

If you want road tuition as well as track, give Cadence a call on 01949 844449 - it's run be an ex-Hendon instructor, so you get the best road tuition going. They do off-road stuff as well!

I'd be interested to see which, if any, of the costs are allowable as a business expense. Driving courses may I'm led to believe come under "Health & Safety" and so may be allowable ... does anyone know the nitty gritty on this?

If the staff have to drive as part of their job, then it's a business expense as you have to do risk assessments and the like, under HS&W Act. If of course, you're just treating your staff to a jolly the IR might take a dimmer view...

I attended to Palmersport days, one at Bedford Autodrome and one at Bruntingthorpe proving ground. I had an excellent time on both occassions. Good selection of vehicles available, Lotus Exige, Formula Palmer Audi F3 style single seater, Palmer Jaguar Le Mans style care etc etc. I have yet to experience anything better, although I will be attending an event on March 10th involving Ferarri, Lamborghini and Dodge Viper..................Will let you know how I get on if forums still live...............

enough suggestions there and plenty of people taking the michael pretending to have 'found' companies they own I suspect (those contributions removed)

Rate cards are available at the door for those that want to advertise!
