East Fortune Track Day

Scottish Track Open for fun again

Following the success of last year's inaugural event at East Fortune, one of the UK's fastest motorcycle circuits, the Scottish Section of the Alfa Romeo Owners' Club, in conjunction with Javelin Trackdays, is holding a trackday at the circuit on Saturday, 14th May 2005.

East Fortune is essentially an airfield circuit, one and a half miles in length, with two fast straights linked by a combination of open, sweeping bends and a demanding tight section which includes a hairpin and a chicane. The circuit is located just off the A1, 20 miles South of Edinburgh, near the town of Haddington.

The cost of the day is £150, which includes a second driver. Passengers are charged at £10 per person and have to be "signed on".

The famous Museum of flight (complete with Concorde!) is just a couple of miles from the circuit and well worth a visit.

To book your place on this Trackday (there is a limit of 40 cars), log on to www.javelintrackdays.co.uk or 'phone 01469 560574.

Just booked up for this. Did the track day last year, good circuit and quiet, lots of track time.

The circuit has been upgraded (or will have been), so the last remaining 'rough' corners will have been resurfaced.

Roll on good weather for May...
