Don't know of anything IN Surrey, the closest I could find were Thruxton, Brands Hatch, Goodwood or Castle Combe - all within a 2 hour drive!

It's a imilar situation for airfields.

What do you want the venue for?

There's always Duxford - where Top Gear is/was shot.

Sorry jeremyc, it's shot at Dunsfold airfield south of Guildford not Duxford.

Dunsfold is not open for trackdays tho right?

All I want is to do a trackday/airfield day without having to drive 3 hours each way!!

am going to one on Sunday at North Weald in Essex... that isnt too far... anyone know it?

North Weald, thats the place that 1st lotus/Carlimits do there thing. Its not hard to get to just the other side of the M25.

There is the private track at Longcross. Its owned by Qinetic ex MOD so has some restrictions also very rare for the track day people to take it as it has very limited run off etc.

Some dealers use it for test drives, demos and training I have used it with Subaru and Porsche but never seen it used by the usual track day organisers.
