I'm looking at going to the Bedford Autodrome day on 28 September and I'd appreciate any feedback. Are there any PHers going either to that day or 12 October?

Not actually been 'on track' with them, but have attended some of there track days at Donington, all I can say is expect a lot of very quickly driven exotica, cars seen at Donington included Porsche GT1's, road spec and race spec, 911's seem as common as Caterhams at anyone else's track days But it usually looks to be very well run as there at the 'top end' of track days.

I have done several Donington days with them; always been well organised and great fun.

No not mine: Mine is a Mk4, yellow with green centre stripe copied off the Harrods McClaren circa 95/96 which is when I built it.

I did one track day with them, and I've never been back. There were drivers who were flagrantly breaking the rules, and driving like complete idiots. A complaint by me to the organisers about one of them resulted in the answer "Yes, he always drives like that. I do wish he didn't keep coming." Nothing was done though.

Discipline was obviously seen as a problem, as at the start of the day, everybody had to put a big sticker on the back of their car with an arrow on it pointing the correct side to overtake on. It was ignored by several of the more aggressive drivers, who just did what they pleased.

The marshalls weren't all that impressed that the organisers spent the whole day in the canteen either.

This was a couple of years ago, and I sincerely hope that they're better now, but they won't get a second chance from me.

Did one at Bedford Autodrome and track was good, organisation was non existent but not a problem, quite a few cars failed to turn up andn no problems on track. Bit expensive so did not renew my membership, I now use Easytrack instead, eg. recent Donington Evening in August was a blast.

I have done a couple of days up at Bedford with them and been very happy. Open pitlane so you can drive as much as you like and not half as crowded as many trackdays. I only saw one incident of bad driving and the guy was black flagged straight away. I'll be there on the 28th so pop over and say hello (blue elise).
