I don't think you can write it off for being four cylinders. 235bhp and some decent engineering should make this an interesting proposition.

The Weissman is more like a Morgan/TVR. Not a dedicated track car.

You're right, Ted - it's indeed not the four pot; it's the price.
You'll get a new Lotus Elise AND a new Ducati for that kind of money. That equals eight cylinders

I just thought to add two of the few small German car manufacturers to the list. It wasn't intended to to be track racers only
