PS hope the weather improves, I'm doing this event in lieu of the cancelled 'Ring days last November. I'd hate to be snowed off again...

Yeah - I've been told Oulton is renowned for being Snowed off in March. Hmmm - should be ok. Just cold...good for the turbos

I heard they had cleared the track and had blue skies yesterday. Snow forecast today but rain Friday and sunny spells Saturday so we should be OK.

Sounds good - really getting ready for it. Never driven or seen the track before so a lot of practices on the old PS2 - Toca 2 before we head out on Saturday!

If anyone does spot me come on over - I've just had a new exhaust system fitted and dont have any idea what it sounds like. Will be happy for you to use my camcorder to get me as I crawl past the final straight

Lee, I've only done Oulton once before but it's pretty easy to learn. Most of the sims (TOCA etc.) won't have the full circuit we'll be doing which includes the Shell hairpin. You're welcome to come out for a few passenger laps with me if you like.

As I live 3 miles from Oulton I can advise that all the snow has now melted!

Hope you all enjoy yourselves tomorrow, personally I will be driving down to France tonight in search of the snow.

Anyone know if I and the kids can come and SPECTATE - I have got rid of wife (and sister in law) via the expensive hotel booked via www.totalstay.com on the cheap and need to indoctrinate them into speed matters.
