Hi Guys,

Has anyone here ordered or taken delivery of one? What do you think?

I got the 1st lotus DVD a few days ago and after much antisipated waiting I am very dissapointed. The production quality is great and the topics covered relevant, but I A) was suprised at how short it is...and B) the simple fact is that Whenever "Walshy" speaks I can't pay attention to his very valuable instruction as He sends me to sleep! I'm sorry but I'm serious, It's no doubt essential information but put across in a way that every 30 seconds I end up thinking "Bugger, he was talking then, what did he say, I switched off".

I think the DVD is just a taster , after all its not in Walshy's interest to make it so comprehensive that you can avoid going to him for some real lessons. Id applaud him both for doing it as a pioneering effort and for asking people first ( on his forum) what they would be prepared to pay. He seems a bit nervous addressing the camera which restricts the expression in the vocals too. The content is exactly what he trains you on ( so it does what it says on the tin ). If you have not tried the real thing then hopefully the taster will convince you to do so...

Agreed, it's too short.

I haven't been on the day itself yet (going on 14th Feb) and I appreciate he is not going to give away too much. But, some better/longer clips of the techniques being used would be better.

Good production values though, and I'll no doubt watch it lots of times - each time getting more frustrated because I won't have anywhere to practice.

I was unimpressed. I don't think it does many favours as either a driver aid or a promotional tool.
(but I wish him luck in recouping production costs)
