I'll be there to spectate..CSL in for pheasant removal.....
Could be tempted to take the SL65 round, but only 1 lap at a time...
DoctorD, make sure you don't run the supersprint there. The noise nazis are very fierce and turfed me off a couple of weeks back

Great day out apart from the prick in the SL merecedes v12 biturbo getting the car sideways in the car park throwing stones up at me, my friends and out cars.
Nice driving. You should be proud.
saw you on the track Alan, but didnt get to speak.
He wasnt the only moron hooning in the car park sadly.
I cant understand why people on trackdays feel the need to speed and drive like twats in the car park.
I got ran off the road by an instructor believe it or not...indicating right for me to overtake, only to pull left into my path making me go off onto some bumpy grass at 100 mph!
It took my front splitter off and shredded some of the plastic around the cooling duct intake on the right wheel. Luckily I found my splitter afterwards and refitted it this morning.
Otherwise a good day!
Ill be there on the 8th jan..will you??
We'll probably be there in Jan. I've bought an Imprezza with a friend but don't think I like it after driving the 911! Such a different experience (not for the better unfortunately).
Sorry to hear about your 'off'. I half expect a few shinanaghans on the track though, just not in the car park!
I thought i recognised you (and your car). I think I was just coming off when you came on?
Glad it all went well in the end!
See you next year.

there seemed to be a lot of "drivers" in the mornig blatantly ignoring the rules about not overtaking on corners etc, which was disappointing and caused a few scary moments...
I was also amused by the loon in the silver 360 driving as if he had just stolen it - he looked like he would have been more at home in a Max Power Nova doing donuts in a Tesco carpark
On leaving at 330pm saw some unfortunate soul in a purple caterham had just had a big off on the road back in towards Bedford - slowed to see if could help as he had lost a front wheel, but he was being assisted by others who had left with him. Nighmare end to his day

I thought the driving standards in the first morning session were appaling. I spoke strongly with the marshalls in the paddock ( I couldn't find Graeme) and said that I wouldn't be going out on the circuit until I saw some black flags being used.
The silver 360 driver was a prat, anyone can spin and do donuts, but he seemed to be trying to impress his friends.
It didn't help when Graeme gave his usual talk about how you can't hurt yourself at Bedford. There are at least two places where you could do serious damage if you're not careful, the chicane on the back straight (which I'm braking down from 150mph do 110mph) and all it takes is some brake failure or a clipped kerb sending you onto the grass and a roll at 100mph will not be pretty.
The good news is my (Michelin Cup) tyres lasted this time, unlike several of my friends in the other CSLs, the bad news is my super-dooper 6-pot AP brakes finally cooked their Pagid RS19 pads. Despite there being a good 4-5mm of pad material left, it wasn't showing much eagerness to stop me and I began that ever frustrating process of braking at the same point on each lap, only to find that sometimes I wiped off sufficient speed and other times I didn't. Occassionaly you might have seen me out-brake myself into the coned area in full sight of the paddock..
Sorry to hear about the purple Caterham. If it's the same one I'm thinking of he spent all day trying to get his car sideways and generally being a little careless (he spun in front of me at nearly 90mph) so it doesn't surprise me that he finally hit something.

Alex, long time no hear, how are things? Did you survive being driven around Rockingham by Danny last weekend? I chickened out
I was a bit scared to be honest! He was running on the highest ride height on road legals, and intent on going sideways around every corner, which is a bit alarming in a Radical!
I'm planning to do quite a few Bookatrack days next year so should see you a quite at quite a few, as I understand you are planning to do (at least) 15!

Have to agree. I havent seen those guys before, (Lambo, 360 two M3s) but they didnt do themselves many favours by driving fast and wheelspinning in the pitlane.
I am glad to hear that you were on Cup tyres though....
I was having serious trouble keeping you behind me !
I saw your car going sideways plenty of times in my rear view mirror!!Looked great.
Gotta get some of those tyres.
GT3s and contintentals dont mix well.!
