Best antifreeze for heat disipation??

Ive lust got some water wetter stuff to help bring water temps down a bit on track & just wonderiing is there a type of antifreeze/coolant that is particually good to use it with, or are all the eythene glycol ones pretty much the same?
Oh and would distilled water over normal tap water have much effect I wonder?

I would check with the supplier or manufacturer of water wetter to find out what they advise and % of mix, no point adding anti freeze to find you are diluting the properties the water wetter.
Distilled water will help reduce deposits in the rad/block over time so it is no bad thing..I find the Morgan runs best on Malvern spring water
Have you experienced additional cooling with the water wetter as advertised? I may try some in the 993 when on track if it works

Well the info they supply does seem to say it works best without any antifreeze-
The table they give from dyno tests=
50% glycol 50% water 228 deg F
As above + water wetter 220 deg F
Water only 220 deg F
Water & water wetter 202 deg F
Which looks like works best by a fair margin with just water & water wetter right?
So maybe just normal antifreeze mix for winter & then when spring has sprung, drain the anti freeze out & just run with water & water wetter is the best way.

Head off at the mo so its very cool! but only ever got the big temps on track anyway, no amount of road abuse gets it that hot, not really that same outside temps at the mo as experienced at sweltering brands in the summer anyway!

I didnt think you went fast enough to warrant it.... anyway ask rico for technical advice as there may be a special reason why the 993 might not need the water wetter...
