Any of the trackday organisers ever done/or tried to get a day here?

Just thought it would be a heck of a laugh to see how PH'ers own cars did against the TG/stig times (ok so a track day & you cant officially time for insurance etc etc but easy to see on video afterwards....) or say a normal trackday & then an optional seperate timed sprint or somat at the end of the day.

Isn't the TG route a figure of 8?
Could be fun if it is!

Ah indeed that could make it a tad interesting if it is the case!

Dunsfold circuit is only licensed to be used by Top Gear (on official TG business), McLaren (who own it) and Plans Motorsport (for shakedown testing of customers' cars). So no trackdays unfortunately.

IIRC Easytrack have some days booked next year but I don't think they'll be using the TG circuit as it's a figure of 8

Cool, if use has been extended to trackdays I'm up for it. I only live 10 miles away.

Also new for 2005 is our exciting new "drift school" to be held at several venues around the UK, including Silverstone and Dunsfold Airfield (home of the TopGear test track). The difference with our Drift days will be that included in the entrance fee will be the use of one of our Caterham 7 cars! And yes, we'll provide the tyres too! You'll be able to find full details on www.easytrack.co.uk in time for Christmas.

So it's not exactly a trackday.

Hi Guys, -
Who came up with this one - great idea!
I only live about 12m away!
Humble tuppence-worth: A mate of my brother's has hired the Dunsfold track for his 'milestone' birthday - I'm not saying which one, as I'm a bit of an old git as well!!
Anyway, - in December - morning session - apparently full facilities (whatever they might be?) - £500 so he's getting 20 of us saddo's together to do the Schumacher thing! This means £25 each!! cheap no?
Bizarrely, I have had some vague biz contact with the Developer /Landlord of this Gaff - so if anyone is interested I can email the details? P.S.: plenty of good country Pubs nearby for apres-thrash!
