Covered Transportation?

I and a few mates are in the early stages of planning a trip to a European circuit and we want to have our cars transported there.

Ideally, we're after a covered transporter with driver to take several cars (hard to say how many at this stage - say 5 to 10). The most important consideration is a highly professional and safe service.

Has anyone here done this? I'm after some recommendations if possible, as I can easily look in the back of the magazines myself!

Any experiences?

Try 01908 227586 (GWS) - they make regular trips to all the usual Euro circuits, Spa, the 'Ring, Hockenheim etc. Also 01624 880315 (Race Car Rides).

You'll pay between £500 & £1,000 per car per round trip depending on detail. By comparison, if you're towing your own car then by the time you've costed a Eurotunnel return, petrol/diesel, tolls where applicable, wear & tear to own transport etc, these prices are not too bad, indeed £500 transportation costs for a secured, insured, round trip to say Spa/Nurburg is a bargain.
